The inn is a beautifully restored place with stunning rooms, and I appreciated the friendly atmosphere, especially meeting the locals who were very welcoming. My room had gorgeous period features that made my stay feel special. Unfortunately, the noise levels were disruptive, making it hard to relax and unwind in the evening, which was quite disappointing.

No complains at all, the hotel met standards. Spent 1 night here with my partner, had a really really nice stay overall. The food was amazing overall. The location in the middle of the city was marvellous and ideal for me.

Spotless and extremely spacious room, I truly enjoyed the hotel!
All in all, it was nice comfy base for travelling to Coggeshall. The room with character.

The room was fine with plenty of space and sparkling clean bathrooms. The complimentary breakfast hamper was perfect. I loved relaxing in the sun terrace and the lovely garden area . The noise from the pub was a bit bothersome at night, but the earplugs helped a lot. 🌼

Lovely room, lovely breakfast with fresh orange juice and a nice selection of yoghurts and fruits in the fridge, while the cute bar/lounge area was great.

Spacious and cozy vibes
We stayed for a night in this cool beautiful king room. The big bed was super comfy and the high-beamed ceiling. The breakfast hamper was great, and we loved having a fridge stocked with goodies! Just wish the bar area had more options. It felt a bit limited.
